The VdTMoCA Foundation (UK) has updated its Privacy Policy which reflects the changes introduced by the new European data protection law known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on 1st May 2018.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to this Policy.

How do we obtain your personal information?

When you register to become a member of the VdTMoCA Foundation (UK) you provide us with personal information including, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail, and the healthcare provider you work for.

You also have the option to complete a survey about your academic activities and interests, including research and publication.

When you contact the VdTMoCA Foundation (UK), you are invited onto an email list, to which you have agreed for your name and email address to be added, and/or you have given permission to be added to this list when booking onto VdTMoCA Foundation (UK) events.

Where do we store your information?

Your name and email address is stored in Mailchimp, which is a secure facility for sending email campaigns.  VdTMoCA Foundation members’ names and email addresses are also kept in an excel document within a Dropbox folder accessible only by Foundation directors.

Any other information is stored within a database located within the functionality of our website, accessible by Foundation Directors and the web designer.

We do not share your information with any other company or organisation outside the VdTMoCA Foundation (UK) unless we have your consent to do so.

For our members we offer networking opportunities and if we are approached by an individual wanting to be put in contact with other colleagues within the UK we will send out a Mailchimp to our members. Your contact details will only be added to this Mailchimp once we have written permission.

Updating or correcting your personal data

You are responsible for informing the Foundation of any changes in your personal details.

Unsubscribing from e-mails

You can unsubscribe from receiving e-mails via Mailchimp at any time by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ at the base of the e-mail.
