Presentation notes covering assessment of Creative Ability, providing the reader with De Witt’s experience and personal insights into the what, how and why as well as factors to consider that limit or influence assessment.  Applicable to all clinical areas the 11-page document considers evaluation of skills in the four Occupational Performance Areas; assessing the level of motivation and action; the three phases within a level of creative ability, exertion of maximum effort and other factors.  Assessment through interview, observation and activity participation is covered as well as consideration given to specific aspects such as anxiety, learning difficulty / disability and physical disability.
