On 29 April, the VdTMoCA Foundation (UK) hosted the Forensic SIG in partenership with St Andrew's Healthcare.
The day welcomed over 40 delegates to engage in a range of workshops, discussions and presentations. Louise Jeffries (Lead OT) and Will Staniford (Senior OT) presented on the use of the model for people with personality disorder and patients who require the use of restrictive interventions. Workshops were held on assessing acutely psychotic patients, which featured a case study and focus on research.
The event was well-received by those who attended. "I found the discussion very helpful and inspiring," said one attendee. Another added: "It’s been great listening to the discussion and I am definitely learning more about the model and its application."
Recordings from the day will be posted on the website - we will notify you when these are available.
