4th International VdT Model of Creative Ability conference, 8 July 2015

4th International VdT Model of Creative Ability conference, 8 July 2015

The 2009, 2010 and 2013 international conferences were highly successful and absolute highlights in the VdTMoCA practitioners' calendar!  We are looking forward to another inspiring conference, this time taking place in Birmingham.  The move of the conference to Birmingham indicates that the model has continued to spread in the UK, and the change in location from London is in response to increasing requests for more central events.

It is an honour that South African occupational therapist, Carole Pretorius is delivering the keynote speech.  Carole has over 40 years of experience of using the model in physical, learning disabilities and mental health services and across age ranges.  As an expert in the model, Carole will be exploring influences on creative ability and how it can be affected by varying conditions.

It is also fantastic news that two of the VdTMoCA shining stars in Japan are joining us to present on their experience of the model in Japan.

Everything is coming together well - South African experts have already secured their places at the conference.  The Call for Abstracts has gone out.  UK OTs and support workers have made wonderful contributions to all previous conferences which is not at all stuffy or academically driven - all contributions are welcome.

What can you share?  See previous presentations and posters in the members' forum, and/or view previous conferences programmes on this site's free access page on CPD and access the
