The South African Model of Creative Ability: A personal contextual perspective

By van der Reyden, D

This keynote speech addresses the model from different perspectives as situated in a framework encompassing healthcare, profession and practitioner contexts in South Africa. The aim of the presentation was to place the model in to a personal, historical and professional context. This is presented by answering the following questions; How am I involved with Vona and the model?, who was Vona?, what were her fundamental beliefs, values and ideas?, What has happened with the model over the last forty years?, and where are we now? The presentation provides great insight and detail through answering these fundamental questions and gives rich invaluable information.
