This paper relates the model of creative ability to children with cerebral palsy. Du Toit clearly explains the vital importance of the observations of the therapist to ensure the right activity is selected to ensure potential for growth and change through exertion of maximum effort. She talks of the need to stimulate the growth of creative ability and how important it is the child is exposed to different environments and situations. The paper provides a very detailed description of the levels and components of creative ability directly relating them to this population.
