This MSc dissertation investigates the use of coaching as a therapeutic tool for occupational therapists. It explores a definition of coaching, relating this to the core skills of occupational therapy. Exploration of the approaches used informed by OT models, including MOHO and the VdTMoCA provide further methods to use coaching as a therapeutic tool. The paper considers the potential benefits for patients and recognises it as a meeting ground between many professions.
