Creating the evidence: Research priorities for the VdT Model of Creative Ability informed occupational therapy

By Sherwood, W

This publication compiled by the Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability Foundation UK describes a research priority-setting study. There had been no research agenda for occupational therapists using the VdTMoCA, therefore this publication was deemed as a major development for the profession. An online survey tool was used and was open to all qualified occupational therapists in the UK. Results were analysed and the top research priorities were themed around four key areas: Effectiveness of the VdTMoCA; Clinical application; Outcome measurement; and Experiences of using the Model. The document concludes with key messages for future research and is identified as a starting point for development of a research strategy by the Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability UK.
